What "raw silk-derived pet food" brings

A cocoon in the palm of a hand — KARADA SILK is born from a single cocoon.

About the material "KARADA SILK"

The origin of SILKFULL lies in the cocoons made by silkworms.

The main component of cocoons is a protein called fibroin. However, fibroin is inherently very insoluble in water, making it difficult to handle as a food ingredient.

We succeeded in making it water-soluble using our unique patented technology and named it "KARADA SILK." We wanted to deliver the legacy of Japan's sericulture industry, built over many years, to the daily lives of dogs and cats—that's how SILKFULL began.

Collaboration with research institutions

We are currently conducting joint research on KARADA SILK with research institutions, including Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore.

We are in the process of verifying the potential of the material one by one. We will continue to collaborate with research institutions and honestly share what we discover.

Currently, SILKFULL is available at approximately 2,800 stores nationwide and about 1,200 animal hospitals. In recent years, it has also expanded to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

In addition, we have received investments from S.T. Corporation, Ajinomoto Co., Inc., and Pola Orbis Holdings Inc.
